A cute couple from New Foundland Canada came to Las Vegas Nevada on a Holiday. Being the adventurous type, they got off the strip, and wondered into 18b Las Vegas Arts District. FYI … very few travelers make it off the strip … so Hell Yeah and Thank you!
Anyway, They came to Jana’s RedRoom and loved a painting I made titled “SAGA Descendants”. (In case you are not familiar, the painting is based on my fantasy that the characters for the comic book SAGA by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples, visited my friends and I at the Bar + Bistro located in the Arts Factory here on Earth.)
Anyway, I thought they really loved it, but sadly they did not buy it … 🙁
THEN a month later I got this message:
Yes of course I remember you and I can not tell you how flattered I am that YOU remember my painting Saga. Wow!! Thank you. Yes, it’s here … It must be your painting!!!
Of course!! Once we got back home we gushed about you, your paintings to all of our family and friends!! Even may have convinced a couple of them to visit Las Vegas solely for the Art District! That is wonderful news!! If it is still there on August 8 (the pay after rent pay) we would absolutely LOVE to have it come live here with us in Newfoundland! It will be the envy of all our friends I’m sure as a lot of them are Saga fans and nearly died when I told them how we came across you and the painting by sheer fate!
Wow. OMGOSH. I will put a sold sign on it now. Just call me when your ready to pay in August. We take all credit cards. I have no idea what it will cost to ship but I can find out. May I please publish your words on my blog?? This is just amazing to me … I feel so blessed!!!
AS Promised … today is the 8th! The painting has been paid for and it is ready to ship!
It is the greatest feeling in the world when someone buys something that you made with your own two hands. It is a feeling I can not describe, other than to say, that I will be on a natural high for days!
By the way, this is the 3rd painting I have shipped to Canada … So that makes me an international artist now … LOL … Thank You Canada! … We love you at the Arts Factory!

Three to five pieces of art per artist. Pieces must retail for $50 or less.
